The Australian Saghbine Charity Association is a
non-profit organization established in 1962 by a group of Lebanese
immigrants from the village seeking to provide welfare, social,
representative to the people from the village of Saghine in Australia
& Lebanon.
Not just aid to Saghbine, Also the association helps
numerous charitable Associations in Australia namely the Heart
foundation, Westmead Children Hospital, Chris Riley Association,
Cancer foundation and other Charitable Associations.
Projects that the Association helped in
Saghbine:
Recently
the Association donated the amount of US $25,000 for an Ultrasonic
Machine for the Moustawsef.
- Helping in digging a well for water in Saghbine
- Helping the Public High School
- Helping the needy people through the priests
- Helping our 2 churches St George and St Mary.
- Helping the Nadi
- Helping the Primary Public School
- Helping the Moustaousef, recently the big renovations
in our Moustaousaf is mostly paid by our association and the
ladies auxiliary.
- Helping the village charity Association and many
more other helps in our beloved town Saghbine.
